Join the New River YMCA & The Red Cross for their Community Blood Drive! |  |
If you would like to donate your blood please join other members of our community at the New River YMCA and help make a positive impact in our community and across the country! Want to donate but worried about what to do with your kids during the donation? No need to worry! The New River YMCA is offering free childcare for donors in the morning between10:00 am to 12:00 pm!
All donors will be provided a light lunch after their blood donation from Clean Eatz.

| Blood Donor Requirements |
-Must be 18 or older to donate -Must show your ID -Medication List (if applicable) -Drink lots of water prior to blood donation -Click HERE to see Donor Eligibility Information |
| What to expect as a first-time blood donor |
-Actual Blood Donation only takes about 8-10 minutes -The whole process takes about 1 hour from start to finish -Must stay for 10-15 minutes after donation |
You can speed up your blood donation process by signing up for The American Red Cross Rapid Pass or downloading Red Cross Blood Donor App (available on Android & Apple)
