Bring On The Kindness!
Macaroni Kid Act of Kindness Week starts this Saturday, September 28th!
I am so excited about Macaroni Kid's Random Act Of Kindness Week! I love seeing people helping others normally so an actual week dedicated to it just sounds awesome to me! I made a list of 30 different ways for adults & kids to spread kindness to get you started but you don't have to use the ideas on my list you are welcome to come up with your own. I love creativity so oddly I.m excited to see the ideas your family come up with. Kids have very creative minds and can come up with some great ideas especially if it is an act of kindness towards their peers. I would love to see families working together and motivating each other to do more!

Macaroni Kid Jacksonville/Crystal Coast Giveaway
I am doing a Giveaway that will run for the entire week of MKAOKWeek (Saturday, September 28th to Saturday, October 5th)! The winner will receive a Fandango Gift Card to take the *whole family out for a movie night! Individual members of the family may work individually to earn entries into the giveaway! During this week if you or a member of your family do something kind for a stranger post about it on Facebook using the hashtag #MKAOKWeek & tag @MacaroniKidOnslowCareteret. A picture is not required but would be a nice addition to the post. Each act of kindness counts as 1 entry into the giveaway so the more kindness you spread the more chances you have to win!
*up to 5 family members
Keep an eye on our Facebook Page for more ideas on ways to spread kindness & some printable act of kindness notes to use as we approach MKAOKWeek. Your welcome to share any act of kindness ideas or suggestions you have on our Facebook Page too. You can spread kindness in so many different ways, and getting the kids to help is a great way to teach them how to be more proactive in helping others without being asked. Also ask the kids if they have any ideas not only will they probably come up with some great ones, it will make them feel important.
On the first day of MKAOKWeek I will be leaving little things around town for you and your family to find! I will post on our Facebook Page when I am doing this so you know where to look So if you or a family member happens to find any of them please share on Facebook that you found it using the same tags as above. You have the choice of either keeping the item, give it to a person that is near you to enjoy (don't forget to share this part so you get an entry in the giveaway), or place it somewhere else for someone else to find.
