For a stay at home mom once the kids are back in school a whole other level of craziness starts in the house and we feel a little lost. We went from chasing our kids all day, breaking up fights between siblings, cleaning up a path of destruction the kids leave behind them, and as soon as we finish cleaning up from one meal in the kitchen bam it's time to start the next meal! Let's not forget hearing the kids say things like "I'm bored, there is nothing to do!" or "I'm hungry, there is nothing to eat in the house!" and "Can I have some candy?" ALL day long! Whether you are a working parent or a stay at home parent the flow and routine in the house completely changes once the kids are back in school. What do we do with our time now? Where do we start?
You need to start off by doing a bunch of NOTHING on the first day of school, put your feet up grab some junk food and binge-watch your favorite shows that you need to catch up on. We all need a little breather to recharge from the chaos of Summer so take advantage of the quiet while you have it.
