Nerf & Skate at Roller City

If your a mom of boys (or girls too) you most likely have Nerf Darts hiding under the furniture, in the couch cushions, and probably some other crazy places! As soon as I hear a Nerf Gun being shot in my house I immediately picture a dart or two hitting a picture on the wall, knocking something down breaking it, and a dart hitting me right in my eyeball! Then all the fun little surprises I will get in the next few days when I find darts all over my house. So over the Summer when I saw that Roller City of Jacksonville was having a Nerf & Skate event I don't know if my son or I was more excited to go! The idea in itself is genius, I don't know what parent that wouldn't get even just a little bit excited about having Nerf Darts all over a floor that isn't theirs!

The 1st Nerf & Skate at Roller City was last July, they got so much positive feedback from the event they decided to start hosting it once a month. We attended the Nerf & Skate last Saturday (August 10th) which was the 2nd time they did this event, we had alot of fun and will most likely attend the next one! The whole skating floor was turned into a Nerf Game Zone with objects to hide behind to protect yourself or to sneak up on a player from the other team and there are even buckets set up around the rink for easy reloading. We played lots of different modes like "Capture The Flag", "Zombie Mode", "Free For All" and more!  

Future Nerf & Skates will be held on the 2nd Saturday of every month from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm for only $10 per person or you can participate in both Skating and the Nerf Games for only $15 per person plus skate rental fee. Keep your Nerf Darts at home they have PLENTY on hand as well as Nerf Guns but your child is welcome to bring their own Nerf Gun if they want to.
