Shark Week 2019 is finally here! This year it runs from July 28th to August 4th! I'm not sure exactly why Shark Week excites me but it does, it could be because there most of the shark activity I see is on the TV screen and not in the ocean. This is the 31st consecutive year that the Discovery Channel has hosted Shark Week on their channel in fact they are the ones that started this highly anticipated week! I went on the good ole Google to find the times and dates on different local cable/dish providers to give you the Shark Week show line up all in one place!

The Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium has many fun programs that are free with admission but they also have some extra special experiences one of which is feeding the sharks! Every Tuesday & Friday is shark feeding time with "Behind The Scenes: Shark Snack"! The price to reserve a spot in this program is $18 for members & $20 for non-members, also if you are not a member you still need to pay for admission into the aquarium. Click HERE to find the aquarium's calendar in order to check availability and/or purchase tickets for the Shark Snack! I personally am a member of Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium, the membership pays for itself in a few visits plus you get 10% off in the gift shop as well as the Dairy Queen that is connected to the building.
