Art Buzz Kids

Art Buzz Kids of Jacksonville is, in my opinion, a "hidden gem", I said in my opinion because I was unaware of this business until a few months ago. They are located inside the Jacksonville Wine & Design located in the shopping center on Yopp Road. I LOVE a good deal and their Summer Program is definitely a good deal!
I recently stopped by our Wine & Design in Jacksonville to see their Art Buzz Kids Class in action, I was blown away with what I saw! The kids just finished up with their canvas right before I arrived, I can honestly say that they did SO good, better than I would be able to do! I talked to a few of the kids asking them about their experience and if they enjoyed their day at the Art Camp, they immediately smiled ear to ear and told me they had a really good time! My younger son (James) loves art, he is better than me too when it comes to drawing or painting anything. I will be putting him in a few of these Art Camp sessions this Summer for a lots of reasons but a few of those reasons are... he will love the class, it can help his artistic skills, the price is amazing, the camp is indoors with air conditioning, I've met the owners as well as a few of the employees that help with the camp so I am completely comfortable with dropping my son off for the day, I SOOOO miss my "Me Time" since school got out and this is a perfect way to get a little of that "Me Time" to run errands without fearing my child is sneaking more stuff in the shopping cart every time I look away! Oh, the owners Cathy & Steve Daigle are genuinely nice people!
Two things that are so amazing about the Art Buzz Kids Summer Art Camp is the price and flexibility. Not only do you have the option to just do 1 class here and there throughout the Summer it is only $35 per class! The classes are from 9 am to 1 pm Monday through Friday for kids ages 5 to 12 years old. All art supplies are included as well as some snacks and water, you just need to drop them off with a bag lunch. Or you can choose to sign your kiddo up for a whole week (5 days) for only $135! There is a different theme each week and they have different activities planned each day in addition to the canvas painting. Wine & Design also has the option to book a group class for things like Birthday Parties, Business Team Building, Baby Showers, Bachelorette Parties, Girls Night Out, and more!  | On Saturdays at 11:00 am Wine & Design has "Open Studio" for adults and kids! This means you pick a design they have in the studio and the staff will assist you in painting it! You do need to register for this activity either online, over the phone, or in-person to ensure you will have a canvas and a seat waiting for you.
