Mother's Day Is This Weekend & You Deserve A Break! So I Want You To Follow These Steps Below Very Carefully!

Walk right past the sink full of dirty dishes!

Then walk past all the dirty laundry!

Sit down, put your feet up
 & relax!

Thanks for sitting, I didn't want you reading this article while doing dishes or walking around! Hopefully, that makes you giggle or at least crack a little smile. In all seriousness, though as mother's we are always moving around doing something, and if we aren't physically moving our brains are moving planning out every detail of these rest of the day, the next day or next week. I don't know about you but it's very draining doing that! I've been thinking about this subject a lot lately hoping to master it but it never works out.

I will start off with one of the best Mother's Day gift ideas and not only is it a fabulous idea it's FREE! Are you ready????

-Give them YOUMost people are surprisingly easier to please then you think and people that are close to you are even

  easier.

-Just simply hug them!

-Sit down to read with your child a few minutes longer than usual.

-Give them your undivided attention by talking to them about your week and ask them about their week.

-Take out some PlayDoh or Legos and have a surprise competition with the kid(s).

-Sit down with your mother, aunt, whomever it may be and go down memory lane looking at old photo albums.

If they don't live close do a video chat.

-Take a walk around the neighborhood or trail at the local park, you can top it off with a picnic or grabbing ice cream.

-Mail an actual card to them with a handwritten note.

If you noticed most of these ideas involve you sitting down! I'm a big believer in creating memories for my loved ones instead of giving them a physical gift. I do still buy gifts for them on some holidays but the gift of your time and creating memories will make a much bigger impact on their lives!

I have one more thing to say before I conclude this article......

You all are amazing, fabulous, hard-working women! Being a mother is one of the hardest jobs out there if not the hardest! It's a job you can't quit, you can't give up, there is no raise in the salary nor training! All of us were handed a tiny little human in the hospital, then sent home a day or two later without a manual on what to do. Personally, I think that should qualify us for "Superhero" status! Keep up the great work ladies (and gentlemen)!
